Campus Description

Spreading over 50 hectares, the campus includes 40 classrooms, 3 multi-purpose laboratory buildings, 3 departmental research buildings, as well as the Student Information Service, commercial and a canteen areas and sports areas. The newly built ‘Raul González’ Stadium is the best University Stadium in the country. The degrees in Publicity and Public Relations, Audiovisual Communication, Journalism, Tourism and Telecomunications engineering are being taught at the moment.

An underground station is adjacent to the campus.

Classrooms

It has two lecture halls. The first has 3.469 square meters distributed in two floors with 11 classrooms (with capacity for from 250 to 60 students). It also has 4 computer classrooms with Internet access, each for 40 students. The second includes 17 classrooms and a Departmental Building. Soon, the Library Building, with 10.000 square meters, will be completed.

All students have access to Internet. A wireless networks covers fully the campus.

Laboratories

It has 3 TV studio sets, 6 radio studio sets with a control room, 18 non-linear edition rooms, a photography laboratory, a multimedia editorial room and a graphic design, animation and 3D laboratory.

Global Distribution System (GDS) Amadeus Laboratory (Fuenlabrada Campus and Vicálvaro Campus) with capacity for 40 students each.

Foreign Language Laboratory with capacity for 40 students each.

Library

It currently holds around 31.000 volumes, 300 journals and 668 seats. There is electronic access its nearly 20000 journals

Canteen Building

It has 2 restaurants. Self-service with a coffee shop and a commercial gallery where the photocopy service is located.
