International Relations

The Vice-Rectorate of International Relations in Rey Juan Carlos University fosters and coordinates the activities of internacional academic training, trying to (promote the construction of a new Europe, I think it is somewhat outdated) strengthen relationships between universities and enterprises in the World and European level, thus fulfilling one of the objectives of the policy of our University.
Having that aim in view, we provide information and advice to the university community about the different training activities at the international level of higher education.

Our Vice-Rectorate manages and develops programmes, both international and national mobility of especially students, but also of teachers and administrative staff which is so important in an interconnected world.

Main international programs in which it participates URJC:

Within Europe, Extended Erasmus Charter has the European Commission, 51615-1C-1-2007-1-ES-ERASMUS-EUC-1, to improve and strengthen transnational cooperation between European universities, encouraging mobility of students for study purposes and for training in companies, and mobility of teachers and Services Management and for teaching and receive training. It also participates in research projects LLP-Erasmus, Actions and Jean Monnet Chairs, in Erasmus Mundus, in the joint development of program of study (Curriculum Development) international intensive programs, thematic networks between departments and faculties across Europe, language courses (EILC), European system of credit transfer (ECTS).

In European strategic level, it has a Universal Mobility Program Students (MUNDE), initiative of the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, who lays a collaborative academic between universities outside the European Higher Education Area (EEES) and promotes student exchanges similar to those promoted by the Program L.L.P-Erasmus.

Interestingly, the existence Student Association former Erasmus - Exchange Erasmus Student Network - ESN Rey Juan Carlos - Madrid Erasmus that providing valuable services to Incoming Students.

There is legislation for Visiting Students, from any university worldwide, who wish to study temporarily some partial studies without getting any official title.

In order to promote Mobility IN of teacher and especially the Administration and Services URJC offer a ERASMUS STAFF INTERNATIONAL WEEK from 8 to March 12, 2010 to enable cooperation and collaboration with colleagues from other European partner universities who may share different views and ways of working.
