Qualification requirements and regulations  Access to official degree programmes will require to have a high school diploma or equivalent and to pass corresponding examinations according to the article 42 of the Organic Law of Universities 6/2001, modified by the Law dated April 12th 4/2007, without prejudice for other access mechanisms foreseen by current regulations.
Profile of the programme  Today the life requires varied types of food in order to live a long useful life. In Spain the food industry requires professionals capable of developing and innovating processes and products related to food production and safety.

Learning outcomes: - Students will be prepared to:

Manufacture and preserve food, analyze food, control and optimize processes and products, develop new food products, implement quality systems, identify nutrition factors, estabilsh healthy food regimes for individuals and groups.

Occupational profiles of graduate: The graduates may work in all food related industries, from production and preservation to verification of quality standards and nutritional values.
