| Qualification requirements and regulations:
Access to official degree programmes will require to have a high school
diploma or equivalent and to pass corresponding examinations according
to the article 42 of the Organic Law of Universities 6/2001O , modified
by the Law dated April 12th 4/2007, without prejudice for other access
mechanisms foreseen by current regulation. |

Profile of the programme: This
programme intends to train professional teachers who are competent at
every stage of preschool education and are ready to adapt and deal with
continuous changes in family structures as well as ethnic and cultural
heterogeneity, bilingual education, and new information and
communication technologies. |
Learning outcomes: Students will be prepared to:
Promote
cognitive, social and personal development from birth to the first
years of compulsory education, use sistematic observation as the main
evaluation instrument of student capacities, use the "globalization"
principle as a guideline for educational activities and tasks from 0 to
6 years of age, favor children's approach to reading and writting,
understand psychomotor development and design activities to promote it,
promote respectful social, cultural and environmental behavior.
