    The organizing committee is delighted to welcome you to Hispano-Moroccan Days on Applied Mathematics and Statistics in Tetouan, a pretty city located in the north of Morocco. The objective of the 1st Hispano-Moroccan Days on Applied Mathematics and Statistics is to promote and foster cooperation in applied mathematics and statistics by bringing together scientists and engineers from Spain and Morocco working in specialized areas.

    The 1st Hispano-Moroccan Days on Applied Mathematics and Statistics will take place from 17th to 19th December 2008. The aim of these Hispano-Moroccan Days is to present through invited lectures, selected contibuted papers and poster sessions, recent results in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Probability and Operational Research. Applications in different fields are encouraged. Recent results and new trends in the analysis of numerical algorithms as well as their application to challenging scientific and industrial problems will also be discussed. Apart from theoretical aspects, a major part of the HMAMS days will be devoted to numerical methods for interdisciplinary applications.
