The CLP Regulation (Classification, Labelling and Packaging) is a cornerstone of chemical safety in Europe. Understanding its requirements is essential for professionals involved in regulatory affairs, product stewardship, EHS, quality, manufacturing, purchasing, logistics, and supply chain management.
Whether you are new to chemical regulations or looking to strengthen your expertise, this course will provide the knowledge and practical skills needed to navigate CLP requirements confidently and ensure compliance within your organization.

Objetivos
- Provide a comprehensive understanding of the CLP Regulation and its role within the European chemical’s legislation framework.
- Explain the principles of hazard classification for physical, health, and environmental hazards.
- Understand the legal obligations of manufacturers, importers, downstream users, and distributors.
- Learn how to correctly classify substances and mixtures according to CLP criteria.
- Develop the ability to interpret and apply hazard pictograms, signal words, hazard statements (H-statements), and precautionary statements (P-statements).
- Understand the requirements for the labelling and packaging of chemical products.
- Learn how CLP interacts with REACH, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and other regulatory requirements.
- Promote safe handling and communication of chemical hazards across the supply chain.
- Support regulatory compliance and reduce the risks associated with chemical use and distribution.

- Topic 1. Understanding the general objectives of the CLP Regulation, its scope of application, and amendments.
- Topic 2. Identifying the appropriate labelling for each mixture.
- Topic 3. Applying the appropriate hazard communication tool in each case.
- Topic 4. Understanding hazard pictograms, signal words, and hazard statements.
- Topic 5. Translating the classification of Directive 67/548/EEC into the CLP classification.
- Topic 6. Applying classification criteria using real-life examples.
- Topic 7. European Ecolabel.
- Topic 8. What endocrine disruptors are and how they act.
- Topic 9. Categorisation of endocrine disruptors (EDs): endocrine disruption for human health and endocrine disruption for the environment.
- Topic 10. Identification of endocrine disruptors: in vitro and in vivo evaluation protocols (aquatic environment) and mammals.
- Topic 11. Endocrine disruptors and their inclusion in the CLP Regulation.

El estudiante con titulación obtenida en una universidad española o una Institución de Educación Superior perteneciente a otro Estado integrante del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior que faculte en el mismo para el acceso a enseñanzas de formación continua deberán presentar la siguiente documentación:
El estudiantado con titulación extranjera deberá presentar la siguiente documentación:
* Una titulación universitaria (grado o licenciatura) es necesaria para acceder tanto a Másteres como Expertos, y a Especialistas. Sin embargo, en algunas ocasiones se contempla la posibilidad de que personas sin titulación universitaria previa pero que puedan demostrar experiencia profesional relacionada con la temática del curso, accedan al mismo.
Esta posibilidad deberá estar contemplada en la memoria académica correspondiente y estará sujeta en todo caso a la decisión de la Dirección de Curso. Las personas que accedan por esta vía, solo recibirán un Diploma o un Certificado de Extensión Universitaria dependiendo de los casos.
