Outgoing Erasmus+ and Munde

Outgoing

The Erasmus program allows undergraduate and graduate URJC students to attend one or more four month courses at one of the European universities with which the URJC has agreements. These exchanges have traditionally counted on the Erasmus scholarships that are granted by the EU and the Spanish Ministry of Education.

The Munde program is aimed at facilitating mobility between the URJC and the universities from countries which are not covered by the Erasmus + program. The possibility of being granted a scholarship or funding and its amounts depend on the subscribed agreements with each of the universities, countries or entities.

General information

Places of Erasmus and Munde programs are offered by public call and are awarded to those students who have the best record and who have passed the level of language recommended by the partner university. The calls are usually published in October for the next years’ mobility program.

Travel insurance

OUTGOING

Students who carry out their mobilities in European Union countries, European Economic Area (Norwegian, Iceland y Liechtenstein) and Switzerland must have the European Health Insurance Card (http://www.seg-social.es/wps/portal/wss/internet/Inicio).

This card allows beneficiaries to access the public health system during their stay, but it is highly recommended to check the availability of medical services, especially if a medical treatment is being received, since there are differences between sanitary systems of different countries and there may be additional expenses not covered.

For this reason we recommend to contract, whether you travel to these countries or to other countries around the world, a private insurance that includes medical assistance among other guarantees.

In either case, a recommended option is the On Campus Estudia insurance, with wide covers and a very advantageous rate. It is possible to check the conditions and take it out through this link: https://oncampus.es/seguros/oncampus-estudia/
